Pervolia Village is a community of 1600 inhabitants. Situated only 17km from the city of Larnaca and 1km from the Seaside. Pervolia is famous for its 4km long attractive, unspoilt beach. The area has not been polluted and the water is crystal clear.
Since ancient times, Pervolia was the resting place of the elite society, kings and nobles. There can be found the "Tower of Regena" which is an archaeological monument with the characteristic coat of arms of the Frankish era. Yet another historical attraction is St. Leontios Church with its ancient ecclesiastical paintings dated back to 1600 AD.
Visitors to the village can enjoy the warm hospitality of its inhabitants and sample the delights of the Cypriot restaurants and local taverns of the village. The community also has banks, tourist shops, supermarkets, sport centers, nursery and elementary schools. Most of the local people mainly toil the land producing vegetables such as okra and artichokes.
The next beaches are 10 minutes walk away. You will find stony beaches there which however become sandy as you enter the water. The beaches around Pervolia are well suited for children because the sea deepens gradually thus allowing children to play safely.
